“I’m coming back with the confidence of knowing who I am.”

Sampa's delivery flows between spicy, confident rapping, smooth soul-jazz singing, and poetic reflections. Her music is a similarly eclectic brew of abstract hip-hop beats, African influences, spiritual neo-soul, and other styles.

Sampa The Great

In just a few short years, Sampa Tembo—better known as Sampa The Great—has established herself as one of hip hop’s brightest young stars. Exemplified by the 2019 release of her award-winning debut album The Return, she continues an unstoppable rise that has seen her break through numerous personal and professional milestones to become one of the most sought-after voices in contemporary rap.

IDMAN

IDMAN

Toronto-born, Somali artist IDMAN’s "alt-R&B" music is equal parts authentic, contagious and real. Mentored by prolific producer Salaam Remi, IDMAN, who previously worked in social justice, transitioned into music after graduating from Toronto’s prestigious The Remix Project. Born in Canada to Somali parents, and raised between Toronto, North Carolina and Kenya before relocating to college in Portland, the rising musician has learned to thrive in nuance — and they bring these experiences into their music, which similarly blurs the lines between genres and cultures.
